About the Lansdown side

Sam TYERS (of Oakham)

Died April 3rd, 1899.  Aged 20 years.

James Rae TULLY

James Rae married Lillian (Snr) Marian WILES on 10/08/1898.

James’ siblings were:

1.        Rebecca TULLY – the oldest sister who was referred to as “Aunt ‘Becky”.  She was a ladies maid and she ended up in Scotland with the airs and graces of a lady.

2.        Alexander TULLY – an artist for the Ordinance Survey.  He married Minnie* & had children:

  • Vi TULLY
  • William TULLY (aka: Billy – a nickname used by Ian Tully)
  • Helen TULLY (15 Shepard’s Hill, Early, Reading. RG6 1BB.)
  • Robert TULLY
  • James TULLY (aka: Jim)
  • Nellie TULLY – the youngest sister who married Robert (Bob). He was a bus driver & had a daughter who worked for the BSA.

*I think this may be the same Minnie who died in America. If so, then she must have remarried to an American.
